It's about money, Walter Isaacson of Time magazine says, offering his cure for the ills of the news business.
Maybe that goes without saying, but we journalists have been hung up for so long on the non-material side of what we do (pursuit of truth, fairness and objectivity and all that) that now we're being hung out to dry.
Isaacson is now spreading the word and saying the things that years ago -- months ago? -- we would have felt beneath us.
