The Savoir Faire Record Shop in on Nostrand Avenue in the Second Haiti.
That, of course, is Brooklyn.
And there in the record story on Saturday, Chantelle Anton spoke of the joy she is experiencing as she helps those in her homeland.
Crying doesn't feed the hungry over there, she said. But prayer surely helps and giving food and clothing and money does tangible good also.
"We're doing something about it," she said, as those in the store around her arranged boxes of rice and bottled water for shipment to Haiti.
Anton is the cousin of record store owner Hans Brizard.
See the below BrooklynRon/HaitianTimes video about Savoir-Faire, which normally means, in French, "to know how to do." But in these days of earthquake suffering, it translate to "I know how to help."
