Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's parents are Karen and Edward (she, a psychiatrist, he, a dentist). They are both graduates of Brooklyn College.
A May 6 New York Magazine article says this about pops Edward Zuckerberg:
"Zuckerberg was raised on a tree-lined street in Flatbush, the son of a mail carrier and a homemaker.
". . . In high school, he excelled in math and science, and graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in biology in 1975."
Edward went on to the NYU School of Dentistry and the magazine adds this: "While at NYU, Ed was set up on a blind date with Karen Kempner, a willowy Brooklyn College undergraduate."
