All Brooklyn Democratic leaders except for the Barrons and a couple of others aceepted Frank Seddio as the new maker of Brooklyn judges and cutter of back-room deals.
This despite expressions by some that Seddio - who resigned a Surrogate Court judgeship amid a Commission on Judicial Conduct inquiry into his behavior - was like Vito Lopez with another name.
Doesn't it cause a bit of concern that a new leader might have been a close ally of someone as disgusting as Lopez, a man who all but forced young female worker to rub his private parts while on the job and did so for years?
Among Brooklyn Democratic leaders only Charles and Inez Barron (he a Brownsville Councilman, she an Assemblywoman) voted no to Seddio as new borough party chief. Jo Anne Simon, Chris Owens, and Mabel Brown abstained.
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss," said The Daily News. http://bit.ly/PGFTB3
