John Hart - No Slavery Ties

Hart Street is named after John Hart (born around 1711 in Hopewell Township, New Jersey, and died May 11, 1779), who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence as a representative of New Jersey in the Continental Congress. He later went on to serve as Speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly.
